Okay kids, let me introduce you to my favorite fucking noodles ever. My family’s been coming to this noodle shop for /four/ generations, soon to be five in a few years.
They used to literally be located in some back alley where you would be walking in the dark past old shipping crates, dodging the occasional motorbike or stray cat. For the past few years they’ve been in a new location on the street since building renovations were taking place but they’re gonna move back because they prefer to cook their noodles with firewood cause it makes it taste fucking amazing.
It’s family tradition to eat here at least once whenever we’re back in Taiwan and my cousins have been known to come here first right off the plane without even going home first. One time we even convinced them to give us some noodles to take back home, but cause these are made fresh we had to eat them as soon as we got back.
So if you’re ever in Kaohsiung and think wow I want some fucking awesome noodles right now this is the place to go.
